In which a pointy-eared Stranger approaches.
FIRST APPEARANCE – Leonard Q. Rakyl
Leonard Rakyl has been a major character in Scwonkey Dog since, I want to say, late middle school — though I originally gave him an even more ridiculous pretentious rich guy name, which I know is somewhere in my reams upon reams of notes. He originally went by the codename “Wingit,” because he started off as a blatantly obvious riff on the X-Men’s Angel/Archangel, wings and all, only snotty and with a James Mason/Khyron accent. Leonard was originally supposed to be a dog person (Darnian), like Scwonkey, until I decided it would be better to have him more or less able to walk around in daylight without arousing too much suspicion. Making him a public figure despite his physical eccentricities smooths that over a bit, I think. And yes, the ears kind of have an elf thing going on, but he’s not an elf. Since this page I’ve played around with the ear shape to try and make it less elf-like and more … well, more what it’s supposed to be.
