Again, this and the previous page were originally one page — the material from the previous page ended with Jenn starting to get up, and the material on this one began with Dani putting her hand on Jenn’s shoulder (with different but similar dialogue), then cut to our pointy-eared interloper without Jenn’s happy closed-eyed expression.

Jason Richardson’s name was plucked out of the blue during the last dialogue polish for the final draft of this page. We’ll meet him at the beginning of chapter three. (His formal introduction was thumbnailed in late December ‘07.)

Also, notice how the water flowing from the fountain seems to be stuck in time. It was on THAT panel that I learned that you need to be SURE you’ve saved a copy of your layered Photoshop documents WITHOUT the layers flattened together. Argh!
