In which Our Heroine makes a phone call.

Tiffany Chandler was created for an eight-page story I’m concocting for another venue that takes place about a hundred and fifty pages from this point. It just so happens, though, that with Danielle cut off — because she didn’t take her cell with her, because she left her purse at home — frantic Jennifer needs someone else to talk to, and bonus points that it’s someone she can talk to about Danielle’s behavior as of late, setting up future threads. This is why I suppose it’s alright that I erased Dani’s purse from that one panel, though I suppose I could have had Dani’s cell battery be dead or something.

Here we catch a glimpse of Zappilious’s assistant Vanessa Lang, who has been part of SCWONKEY DOG in one form or another longer, I think, than even Zappy himself — or maybe just as long, at any rate. But that’s a long story, and I think involves major spoilers, which makes it a tale for another time …
