New Year, New Site!
The cat has exited the bag, the ball has dropped, and you are looking at a better, stronger, more modern and eye-pleasing SCWONKEY.COM — hopefully one that’ll update at least once a week going forward, but that’s what New Year’s Resolutions are for, isn’t it? I’ve been tinkering away at this silly thing for the better part of December, learning the ins and outs of Wordpress and playing with this lovely little Comicpress template we’ve got going here, and I hope you won’t mind if I keep playing around with it for at least the next month or so ’til I get it just how I like it. And of course, if you’ve got some sort of wacky functionality you think needs added or some helpful advice, you can drop it in the comments thread here or send me an e-mail — all the pertinent contact information is along the bar to your right hand side.
Speaking of which, those of you who’ve been waiting and waiting for that November 14th update I promised, go to the sidebar and click “Chapter 2: Waking Nightmare” and read from there onward … though I’m thinking starting anew from the beginning might be a better tack to take, since I’ve revised the heck out of everything leading up to the tangible comic book edition of Chapter 1 (currently available to buy — if you are so inclined, click on “STORE” up above and take a look).
Oh, and fingers crossed, the next page should be up by the end of next week. I’m going to be toiling away on other SCWONKEY-related business for the next seven days or so, but by next Friday I’m hoping to have the melodrama engines at full throttle for nasty reactions to jarring revelations. It’ll be fun!
