Chapter 2 - Page 38

In which Scwonkey snatches a kind of defeat from the jaws of victory.

I Don’t Think It Really Wants To End.

My intention was — and still is, though it’ll be a hell of a trick if I pull it off — to get three pages done this week. The irritating thing is, it took all the free time I could scrape together (save the time I spent playing my recently-acquired copy of Another Century’s Episode 2: Special Vocal Version for the PS2 — which was an awful lot of Monday night, let me tell you … heh heh, *sigh*) to get this page done. On the other hand, I’ve solidly sketched out the next two pages, and I’m feeling pretty damn excited about hitting the page after next. Six more to go in this chapter, and with the battle over, from here on out we’re just winding things down and putting things in their right and proper places to go forward.

And now, a quick note to everyone out there — I’m quite curious who all is actually reading this thing. I keep looking at the back end of the site and wondering if it’s all just spiders and robots. Any real readers — besides Tolarin and Evan and one or two (if I’m lucky) folks I went to high school with? Please, if you’re enjoying the festivities to any extent, check in on the comments thread. Don’t be shy.

    I’m reading this! And I’m no bot (well, I wasn’t the last time I checked…) I actually found it on a short key from another webcomic (The Unstuffed) that I’d happened across thanks to An-Other webcomic a friend of mine showed to me. Yeah, I”m kind of a junkie, me’thinks. Though I do remember to have a real life - like “Assassin’s Creed” and “Halo 3.” Yeah.

    Real reader. At least, I think I am. Who knows, maybe all of reality is just some kind of simulation and we’re all just computer programs. Or something like that. Anyway, I digress. I forget where I originally linked from, but I’m always looking for more sci-fi webcomics to read, not that I don’t already read a lot. Something about the story hooked me and I’ve been reading since.

    I’m reading also. I just have to remember to link to it somewhere so i don’t forget to check, since my bookmark file is overstuffed and useless.
