And we’re back!

Sorry for the long, unexpected interruption in service. Ordinarily, February is my month for zoning out and being a useless nitwit — such a depressing little month, y’know? — but this year I guess March wound up being that month. I guess it doesn’t help that it was a year ago this month that my relationship with my girlfriend started to fall apart so I had those memories hitting me, and work’s been extra stressful, and I just haven’t had any energy at all — no will to work on anything whatsoever. Depression and lack of energy just suck!The only positive consequence of this is that this week you get three pages in rapid succession. I spent all weekend getting this first page done, and now that I’ve got the ol’ creative drive rolling again and the whole week off, the rest should come in pretty darned rapid succession.

Tentatively, I’m planning on finishing out the chapter next Monday and Wednesday, and then starting Chapter 3 on a Tuesday-Thursday schedule beginning April 3 (my birthday, for the record). We’ll see if I can hold to that, but that’s the plan. I’d really like to start accumulating a backlog of material so that if I do flake out again, I’ve got a buffer so I can slap myself around a bit and get back into the game with maybe only a day or two’s interruption. That would be extremely helpful — unlike this plague of inactivity that took me down for the past couple of weeks! ARRRGH!
