In which Our Hero is ridiculed and punched in the face.
I realize this is totally my fault, but I understand that for a bit, when this was the last page up for several months, some readers (ONE reader?) thought it was supposed to be a mystery as to who punched Jenn in the face. Subsequently I added some dialogue on this page and made sure it was stated VERY CLEARLY on the next that it’s Jason decking her one for letting the vampire get away with his girlfriend. The real problem is that I ran out of room to squeeze in the panel of Jason getting all enraged. It’s an ongoing peril of the way I produce Scwonkey Dog pages — each one is done as individual drawings, on individual sheets of paper, which are then scanned into the computer, colored, and assembled into a single page in Photoshop. Gives me a LOT of freedom, but it also can give me a lot of headaches when the drawings are too tall, or too wide, or just too BIG. (Too small? Never a problem, actually.)
