About SCWONKEY DOG

Created by a preschool-aged Jonathan L. Switzer twenty-plus years ago, SCWONKEY DOG concerns the continuing adventures of the titular dog-faced alien hero from the planet Gardios as he battles robots, monsters, fanatics, ex-girlfriends, demons, and more across the planet Earth, throughout the stars, and beyond. This semi-regularly updated webcomic chronicle of Scwonkey E. Dog’s exploits began in August 2007.

About the Author

By day, Jonathan L. Switzer is a gifted education para-educator helping to expand the minds of elementary school children; by night, he scribbles out new pages of Scwonkey Dog and occasionally writes about the 1985 animated television series Robotech and its sequels and side-stories. He’s had an article on the history of Robotech published in Protoculture Addicts magazine and was a contributing writer to The Art of Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles. He also wrote the continuity notes that appear in the most recent omnibus editions of the novels Robotech: The Masters Saga - The Southern Cross and Robotech: The New Generation - The Invid Invasion by Jack McKinney. He currently resides in Southeast Kansas, where he is lucky that massive shelves of graphic novels and Transformers action figures haven’t fallen over and crushed him to death yet.
